Who runs this site
This website belongs to Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Victory, Road 6, Abese Alawoye, Ibadan, Nigeria. You can reach us at chapelofvictorychristapostolic@gmail.com or on 070 1518 5181.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the forms on this site: your name, phone number, email address and the content of your prayer request, salvation response, testimony, counselling request or message. Newsletter sign-ups collect your email address only.
Why we collect it
To pray with you, to respond to you, to arrange pastoral care, and to send you church news if you have asked for it. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone outside the church except the service providers described below.
Confidential submissions
Prayer requests, salvation responses and counselling requests are treated as confidential and are seen by the pastor in charge and authorised pastoral care members only. Testimonies are never published until they have been reviewed and approved, and we publish the name exactly as you asked us to — full name, first name only, anonymously, or not at all.
Who processes it
This site is hosted and its forms are handled by Cadu, which stores submissions and forwards them to the church’s official WhatsApp number. Their data processing terms are at cadu.app/dpa and the list of their sub-processors is at cadu.app/sub-processors.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to pray with you, respond and care for you pastorally, and then it is deleted. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — simply contact us and we will act on it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Nigeria that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Photographs and media consent
Photographs and recordings are sometimes taken during services and programmes and may be used on this site and our Facebook page. Photographs of children are published only where a parent or guardian has given consent. If you would like any photograph or recording of you or your family removed, tell us and it will be taken down from the site.
Giving and security
This website does not process payments and never asks for card, PIN or bank login details. Always verify account details with the church office by phone before transferring money.
Terms of use
The content of this site is provided for the encouragement and information of our members and visitors. Sermons, teachings and declarations may be shared freely with attribution to Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Victory. Online pastoral care offered here does not replace emergency or professional medical services.
Accessibility
We have built this site to be readable and usable for everyone: text that can be enlarged, strong colour contrast, keyboard navigation, descriptions on images, labelled forms, and Scripture set as real text rather than baked into pictures. If something on this site is hard for you to use, please tell us and we will fix it.
